BML has a proven track record of performance and customer satisfaction, delivering one million hours of 99.999% uptime under Teal System Agreements since 2005. Here is how the Teal System works: The electric water heater in each apartment is eliminated and replaced with a “zero-downtime” gas hot water system. The central system is large enough to supply unlimited hot water to the entire property. The residents never run out of hot water. The Teal System equipment is owned and completely maintained by BML. This eliminates the need for the developer to purchase equipment or water heaters. It also eliminates water heater maintenance costs for the life of the property. BML leases this equipment to the owner at $300 per year, which covers the entire property. The Teal System delivers energy savings to the residents and Boiler Management uses a protion of that savings to cover the opperational costs of the system.
