SHERA ply is a solution provider for interior wood composite material. It is a multipurpose, calibrated panel material and can b ... e used as a substitute for plywood, marine plywood and MDF board in walls, ceilings, door surfaces, mirrors as well as solid surface backings, floor underlays and furniture components. The product is a non-asbestos fibre-cement board made from FSC or PEFC cellulose fibre reinforcement, Portland cement binder, mineral fillers and other additives. It is manufactured in an ISO 9001: 2000 certified factory. SHERA ply’s standard size is 4 feet by 8 feet, and it is available in thickness of 4 , 6, 8, 10, and 16 millimetres to suit various usage. The product is designed to overcome the limitation of other fibre-cement boards in interior decorative applications. SHERA ply can be used with most carpentry tools and interior finishing techniques. It is compatible with high-pressure laminates, wood veneers and polyurethane high-gloss coatings. It can be cut and grooved by a CNC router and secured with pneumatic nail guns. SHERA ply promotes safety in public spaces and minimises impact to the environment throughout its life cycle. It promotes and contributes to good indoor air quality as it contains no added urea formaldehyde (NAUF).60% of the product’s raw material is made of recycled content. This follows SHERA’s corporate commitment of improving the well-being of building occupants and maintaining environmental sustainability. With its unique property, SHERA ply has been used in completed projects in Asia, like the National Heart Centre Singapore, EduSports Auditorium at the National University of Singapore, Myanmar International Convention Center, Silversea Condominium and Toyota Deluxe Showroom.
