ABOUT OUR COAL MINE : We , PT. Prakarsa Mitra Abadi ( PT. PMA) , mine owner , having a own coal mine (IUP Operation Production L ... icense No . IUP 545/ ll/IUPOP/ DISTAM/ IV/2013) for 1566 hectares at wonosari village & mentawir , sepaku taluk, penajam paser utara district, east kalimantan province, Indonesia, about 45 kms away from Balikpapan City, East Kalimantan. Our coal mine currently having ready infrastructure including 12 kms extent of coal hauling road, mechanized river jetty with 300 tons per hour capacity of in-house crusher plant and barge loading land-over conveyors, weight bridge, employee quarters, power utilitirs , diesel tanks, etc., The river jetty is located less than 10 kms from loading point suitable to Panamax size (60,000 DWT) vessels. GEOLOGICAL FORMATION & COAL QUALITY : Our coal mine (1566 hectares) is laying on two geological formations where 1280 hectares are laying on balikpapan formation (Tmbp) which is consisting of thermal coal products (sub bituminous in nature) comprising 5800 kcal/kg on air dired basis (ADB) or 4650 kcal/kg on net reveived basis (NAR) suitable for power generation and rest of 268 hectares are laying on pulau balang formation (Tmpb) which is consisting of high grade , non-coking coal (bituminous in nature) comprising 6850 kcal/kg on air dried basis (ADB) or 6450 kcal/kg on air received basis (ARB). COAL RESERVES AND RESOURCES : The technical feasibility study with detailed drilling programme has been conducted by Regent Pacific Group (RPG) , Honk Kong, through its exploration subsidiary firm of PT. JIMBARAN BORNEO in 2008, with 68 drill holes through leading contractors of PT. MAXIDRILL INDONESIA and PT. ASIADRILL BARA UTAMA , confirmed that our coal mine containing 24.5 million tons of estimated reseeves and 136.42 million tons of estimated total resources ( assessed on non-JORC code basis), a major step forwarded for this strategic asset.
