Due to fulfill SPECS’ ambition as a leading sports brand in South East Asia, SPECS had expanded its market to Malaysia in 2006 & Singapore in 2007. In mid 2009 PT. Panatrade Caraka did a strategic alliance with one of the leading sport-lifestyle shoes brand (PIERO) and was appointed to be a national distributor for Indonesia, and finally acquired the brand by end of 2012. In 2012 SPECS has expanded its product line and launched new sub-brand for badminton sports called SPECS Badminton. And recently in 2014 PT. Panatrade Caraka was also appointed to be a national distributor for one of the prominent international brands: MIZUNO. Japan for athletic products. Some of international sports brands have been already in the pipeline for PT. Panatrade Caraka's next business expansion. PT. Panatrade Caraka is expanding its business in sports retail industry to strengthen its market position in modern channels. The first retail shop in multi-brand format called FISIK has been opened in August 2010. In 2011, 22 FISIK shops have been opened. To accelerate business expansion, in 2015 retail business has been spun off from PT. Panatrade Caraka to PT. Prestasi Retail Innovation. PT. Prestasi Retail Innovation will manage retail business, while PT. Panatrade Caraka concentrates more on brand management and managing wholesale business. On 6th October 2016, Panatrade Caraka signed an MOU with longstanding sports brand, Mitre Sports International, which took place at the Pentland International Office in Hong Kong. Through this MOU, Panatrade Caraka will become the sole distributor of Mitre-branded products in Indonesia, further cementing the company’s standing as one of Indonesia’s leading sportswear provider.
