In 2000 PMG began purchasing debt from leading Canadian financial institutions and established itself as one of Canada’s leading debt buyers. PMG was acquired by Aktiv Kapital in 2005 and transitioned to the Aktiv Kapital Brand in 2008. Aktiv Kapital most recently, was acquired by PRA Group in 2014 and rebranded as PRA Group Canada, April 2015. PRA Group Canada recovers non-performing consumer receivables through customer focused approaches and provides flexible solutions to ensure customers are treated fairly and with integrity and respect.
