The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of MB Holding Company LLC. Petrogas E&P LLC is the holding company of MB Holding Company,for its oil & gas exploration and production assets in Oman and overseas.Other sister companies of Petrogas are MB Petroleum Services,Mawarid Mining LLC and United Engineering Services. Petrogas is engaged in the full range of petroleum activities from exploration to development and into production through its several subsidiaries and one project office.Many of the subsidiaries are operated ventures and the interests are held in both onshore and offshore acreage.Petrogas E&P LLC,was established in January 1999 when it acquired Block 7(Butabul concession, 100%) in Oman from Elf Petroleum and became the operator.In Block 5,Daleel Petroleum,the operator of the Block,is an incorporated joint venture with Petrogas having 50% stake in it through Mazoon Petrogas SAOC.Daleel is set up as the operating company with no profit,no loss basis.Mazoon Petrogas SAOC,100% subsidiary of Petrogas has 50% working interest in the Petroleum Agreement for Block 5.Petrogas Rima is the operator for the Rima cluster of small fields service contract with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO).It has a 75% share of the contract,with the remaining 25% held by Oman Oil Company E&P (OOC EP).As for Area A in Egypt,Kuwait Energy Egypt is the operator and has a 70% interest.Petrogas owns the remaining 30% of this service contract with General Petroleum Company (GPC).In India,Petrogas is operating one shallow water block MB-OSN-2004/2,offshore Mumbai with a working interest of 20%.This is the only offshore block being operated by Petrogas E&P LLC.
