Aristotle S. Onassis initially installed his shipping enterprise in New York while in 1952 he established Olympic Maritime in Pa ... ris in order to manage his shipping assets from Europe. In 1953, Olympic transferred its offices in Monte Carlo, where it remained until 1997. In 1990, Olympic Maritime was renamed Olympic Shipping and Management S.A. Since 1997 it has its main branch in P. Phaleron, Athens, Greece from where it acts as principal agent of the fleet. Currently the fleet comprises of 21 crude oil tankers and 10 dry bulk carriers of a total carrying capacity of 6,1 million DWT. It has assigned to Springfield Shipping Co. Panama S.A. the technical management of the Tanker fleet, whereas Olympic Vision Maritime Inc. has taken over the management of the Dry bulk fleet. Show more
