Electrotemp started with a passion for healthy, tasty water. In the 1980's, George Yui loved spring water so much, that his fami ...
ly drank it, and also cooked with it. At that time, George ran a large manufacturing plant in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. He produced aerospace technology, and assembled large industrial machinery.
He was known as a problem solver in his industry. He provided solutions to his customers "impossible" challenges.
He pursued his love of water in the 1990s by opening his own Spring Water bottling factory. He supplied his customers with water and water coolers.
He noticed that water cooler technology had many design weaknesses, and could be improved in just about every way. He applied the technical expertise he'd developed problem solving in the aerospace industry to making superior water cooler technology.
He started re-engineering the water cooler from the ground up. And solved many of the technical problems that have challenged water coolers for decades.
Improvements came in many areas; cooling and heating capacity, self cleaning technologies, lifespan, safety features, energy efficiency, water pouring speed, and many other areas.
But where Electrotemp products have really caught on is with his Hidden Bottle technology. Within under 2 years, his Hidden Bottle water coolers have become an industry leader.
For decades people have been trying to hide the not so attractive water bottle from sight. Our Hidden Bottle technology hides the bottle in the bottom. All that remains to be seen is the attractive water cooler.
