Since then, ARGENSUN has had a sustained growth, and has strengthened its position as one of the main export companies of agricultural products in the country, positioning its products worldwide. ARGENSUN has consolidated its leadership position in Argentina as a processor and exporter of confection sunflower related products –it supplies customers in the food industry with over 3000 containers (TEUs) per year, reaching more than 50 countries in all 5 continents. Today our company is one of the two major enterprises in the world dedicated to confection sunflower and, by far, the biggest export company in the Southern hemisphere. Moreover, its trademark “Pipas” positions ARGENSUN as the domestic market leader and referent in the roasted and salted sunflower seeds category. This product is distributed mainly in kiosks, and also in supermarkets. Apart from confection sunflower, ARGENSUN has developed, in its product portfolio, other added-value businesses utilizing Argentine high-quality raw material –prune and chamomile for tea, among others. Continuous investment in new industrial technologies and an increased processing capacity, have led ARGENSUN to achieve high production efficiency and maximum quality standards.
