About Advanced Healthcare Associates, LLP

Advanced Healthcare Associates was formed in the late 80’s by Dr. Linda Stropes, Sandy Bammann, NP and later Bryon Miller, JD, ... NP to fill an underserved niche in provider services in LTC. We currently have 9 FT MD’s, 37 Partner MD’s, and 24 NP’s providing care in the LTC settings across two states (Kentucky and Indiana). Our primary coverage area in Indiana is from Kokomo to Columbus and Danville to Greenfield/Shelbyville/Muncie with the bulk of our patients residing in the 9 counties surrounding Marion County. We currently have ~5000 patients in ~100 nursing facilities. In support of our employed and partnered MD’s we have instituted AHA On-Call. AHA On-Call handles an initial level of call triage using nurses and a sophisticated set of 63 clinical protocols developed over the years by our AHA MD’s. Recently we have revised the clinical protocols to be more seamless and intertwined with the SBAR (Interact2 physician notification guidelines). This has enabled us to fully support the ongoing training of LTC Mgmt companies to their staff on SBAR and Interact2 to help prevent avoidable (re)hospitalizations.
