ed in 1990 as a Speciality Chemical manufacturing company to primarily produce import substitute Performance chemicals (Synthetic tanning agents, Coating agents, Fatliquors) for Leather Tanning and Textile processing. We are today a well known Chemical supplier / Technical service provider for the Indian Leather Industry - active across all major leather tanning centers across India. Coating agents manufactured by us are also sold to textile processors and Paint industries. Our Synthetic tanning agents are exported to China and other markets in South East Asia.
Our Pharmaceutical division operates a dedicated production block for the manufacture of Metformin HCL (anti diabetic API) which started operation in 2005. Today we are one of the globally reputed manufacturers of this product with the product sold in over 20 markets worldwide. Over 3000 MT of Metformin HCL is produced annually representing a 'global scale' operation.
The Pharma division is ISO 9001 / GMP certified and has a Certificate of Suitability (COS) from the European Directorate for the quality of medicines and healthcare (EDQM), France for Metformin HCL.
All of the company’s manufacturing operations are ISO 14001 / OSHAS 18001 certified.
Several key steps that will take us closer to our long term objectives have been taken in 2016. We expect to go through an exciting phase involving International plant approvals, Capacity expansion, establishing presence in new markets and creation of world-class first phase capacities for new products in the near term.
