The Albert Baker Fund (ABF) hopes to nurture the educational aspirations of today’s Christian Science students. ABF provides financial assistance for Christian Scientists studying in higher education and CS nursing around the world in addition to various specialized and youth programs within the United States. Beyond the financial support, ABF strives to reinforce the spiritual demonstration of Christian Scientists in their career endeavors.
The ABF Career Alliance is a career community based on Christian Scientists helping Christian Scientists, in keeping with our core value as a “pass the blessings forward” organization. The ABF Career Alliance connects current students, and recent graduates, who are “job seekers,” to a network of professionals who have the experience and desire to help advance their careers. These “career allies,” as we call them, truly are allies as Job Seekers launch or re-launch their career paths. Career Allies offer informational interviews, share “insider” knowledge of their industry, and help connect Job Seekers to internships, job opportunities, and further networking.
The ABF Career Alliance is open to the entire extended family of Christian Scientists. This includes current and past ABF recipients, recent college graduates, those looking for new employment opportunities, and those considering career changes.
