These students have seen a need to further their skills on the global stage where there is an emphasis placed on practical and applied skills versus theoretical based learning. The mission of the TBA is to facilitate business education trough international experiences and resources. It hopes to create a positive and stimulating learning environment for young perspective entrepreneurs, who are thinking "out of the box" and want to facilitate change. The concept of the TBA is to add additional experience to student's knowledge, ideas and skills. At the same time the TBA will attempt to introduce international students to the North American campus life-style by emerging them into Canadian University campuses for their lectures, living arrangements and cultural activities. It is an intensive 21 days learning experience for serious students aimed at emerging the students in one of the world's most competitive markets. Credits earned at the TBA can be applied to European post secondary institution's programs. Toward the end of their lectures and site visits all students will be given the task of competing in a "biz plan competition" that will be judged by leaders in Canadian business. The competition will be one of the highlights of the closing ceremony session. At this session it is hoped that future internships will be established between European students and Canadian companies.
